Geocache Description:


The cache is located in Sence Valley country park between the villages of Ibstock and Heather. The park is 60 hectares (148 acres) in size and was created in 1998 from a disused open cast mine. The park has three main lakes and many easily accessible footpaths. There are lovely views of the surrounding countryside and the whole park is dog friendly. 

The park can be fairly busy in the summer months but there are a few secluded places off the beaten track. The cache is positioned by a tranquil pool which offers a different perspective of the park.
