We will be meeting on July 15 from 1-2pm at the picnic area behind the Saugerties Lighthouse at the end of the trail. Feel free to bring a picnic lunch, travelbugs, and furry pals.
This time should be fine, but since I am scheduling this event in advance I will review the tide tables and adjust the time if needed when we are closer to the event date. Portions of the trail do flood at high tide which is what I'm trying to avoid. It is reccomended to bring proper footwear that you don't mind getting wet because those sections of trail will remain somewhat muddy.
The trail itself is relatevely short with the main trail leading to the Saugerties lighthouse and a small split leading to a couple of sitting areas (not where we are meeting). It is a nice walk near the Hudson River. This will be rain or shine and only cancelled in the event of extreme weather.
