Every year the village of Goosnargh holds an annual Whitsuntide Festival which starts with a maypole dance followed by a parade and a bit more dancing, the 2017 festival took place a few weeks ago on the 2nd of June. The village fesitval is twinned with a fesitival in Canada, the Annapolis Valley apple blossom fesitival which takes place on the same weekend so it seemed fitting to host a Canada day event here in Goosnargh given the trans Atlantic connection
Bring your trackables
The event will take place at the Grapes Inn Goosnargh starting at 2pm and ending at 2:30 pm. If the weather is nice we will be outside in the beer garden. If the weather is less than kind then we will retreat indoors. You will spot us with our "discover me" flag. The grapes is child friendly and we aim to make this family friendly so nice daytime event not too late at night
