The Behrend campus has a lot of geocaches, and it isn't easy to find an open spot. I went on a walk with the boy scouts that were working on their merit badge. We tried several spots, but all of them were too close to other caches in the area. Finally we came upon this spot. If you spot an "X" you know that you are near the cache.
The cache itself is a 30-cal ammo can hidden in a common fashion for ammo cans. There is a trail that leads right to it, but the trail is not maintained and can be quite overgrown during certain times of the year. Parking is available in the Junker Center parking lot.
WARNING, there is a large preditor that lives in this area. Keep an eye open for it. If you walk over to the coordinates listed below you can get a nice photo-op at the location of the last sighting.
