I was thinking of hiding a quick park and grab lamp post cache – like the ones that have a 35 mm container hidden under the skirt or another type of lamp post cache (and oh boy did I get a great deal on 35 mm containers!). But I was also thinking of hiking deep into the woods and hiding something bigger – like an ammo can that has room for lots of stuff. Well, I just couldn't make up my mind and it was stressing me out - so I put on some of my favorite music and I developed a theory that led to a hybrid cache that is somewhere between a lamp post cache and a deep woods ammo can. I hope it doesn’t take up too much of your time – just remember when you get to the bottom of it all, it’s about the smiley!
P.S. - I would like to apologize in advance for this cache…
DIRECTIONS & DETAILS : There are multiple ways to get to the cache, but I suggest the parking lot on the southeast corner of Old Willets Path and Veterans Memorial Highway (where it's 347/454). The cache is hidden at the end of a fallen tree located a short walk from the parking lot. If it rains, you may have to pick and choose where to step in the beginning, but it clears up. I picked this spot because you can sit on the tree and check out the cache. When you put it back, please cover it up better than you found it. Thanks!
