Geocache Description:

 Even if you do not usually swap swag, please take some swag to move on to a box that has little, or is empty.

This cache is going to be archived on Monday 10th August

We are archiving all of our 100+ Yorkshire caches.
We'd love you to come and find any caches you can before that date.

Although we encourage you to take as much swag as possible before the caches disappear, please do NOT take the cache itself. Cachers are still trying to find our caches and, once we archive them, we're hoping to bring them in ourselves.

SAVE OUR SWAG!



The definition on Geocaching.com for SWAG is "An acronym often referred to as standing for 'Stuff We All Get." It includes the trade items left in caches by geocachers."
Except: we don't all seem to get swag. All too often we arrive at a small, regular or even large box that is absolutely empty. What is the point of having these containers if not to hold items?!

It can be very pleasant to find nice swag items in caches. Many geocachers assume that swag is just for children: but many adults can enjoy swag too. Both items used in crafting and for DIY can be placed in boxes and can be appreciated by finders. Small items for various hobbies such as plectrums and golf tees are also useful to find. And if placed in small, resealable plastic bags, swag can remain clean and dry for months, waiting for just the right geocacher to come along to appreciate them.

This cache is part of a small campaign on our part to introduce more swag to the area and to caching in general. This is the 2nd of two "S.O.S." caches that we've placed. The other called simply S.O.S. (Save Our Swag)

This should be a quick cache and dash complete with handy layby.
