Come and join your favorite Canadian moose...Ok, so I'm not really Canadian eh, but my kid is...OK, my kid goes to school in Canada, so I've been more than once. When I found out about this event, on this wonderful day, I thought, we need to have it at a Canadian place.
How about a coffee chain that is Canadian...only on base.
How about a place that sells poutine? Only local place I could find uses mozzarella, not curds; it's just not the same without the squeak.
What else here says "Canada?" Then I remembered that kiddo's city is criss crossed by trails. I know a trail!!
We will meet in the parking lot on the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail. The event will be short, but when it is over feel free to follow the trail south or even north...but you won't get as far as the Great White North. (But I might have a door prize or two from there.)
