This Cache takes you up to one of the highest Mountains in southern Albania. The Cache is located on the South Summit at 2386m and is the highest point of Albania which can be reached by a Vehicle. I recommend a Offroader or Motobike. If you drive careful, it should also be possible with a tough Car. In Winter with Snow, this Cache is accessible only by foot and then its probably a quite nice adventure...
Dieser Cache führt euch auf einen der höchsten Berge im südlichen Albanien. Der Cache befindet sich auf dem Südgipfel auf etwa 2386m und ist der höchste Punkt in Albanien der mit einem Fahrzeug erreicht werden kann. Ich empfehle einen Geländewagen oder ein geländegängiges Motorrad. Bei vorsichtiger Fahrweise sollte es auch mit einem robusten PKW oder Bus machbar sein. Im Winter bei Schnee ist dieser Cache nur zu Fuss erreichbar und dann wohl ein ganz schönes Abenteuer...

On the southern summit is the tomb of Abbas Ali, Tyrbja e Kulmakut. The Bektashi pilgrimage is also called Father Tomorr. Abbas Ali was a half brother of Husain, the grandson of the Prophet Mohammed, who both died in the battle of Kerbela. Abbas Ali's soul settled in the faith of Bektashi after his martyrdom on the mountain before she ascended to heaven. Abbas Ali had never been to Albania in his lifetime.
The Sufiorden of the Bektashi is celebrating a multi-day sacrificial festival on the Tomorr, at the end of August (mostly 20-25 August), with some 10,000 pilgrims coming up the mountain. This was not permitted during the communist regime under Enver Hoxha. Religious activities only began to revive after the fall of communism in the early 1990s. The ritual sacrifice of a sheep and the visit of the tomb of Abbas Ali is a central part of the religious pilgrim ritual.

Auf der Südspitze befindet sich das Grab des Abbas Ali, die Tyrbja e Kulmakut. Die Pilgerstätte der Bektaschi wird auch Vater Tomorr genannt. Abbas Ali war ein Halbbruder von Husain, dem Enkel des Propheten Mohammed, die beide in der Schlacht von Kerbela starben. Abbas Alis Seele ließ sich im Glauben der Bektaschi nach seinem Märtyrertod auf dem Berg nieder, bevor sie in den Himmel stieg. Abbas Ali war zu Lebzeiten nie in Albanien gewesen.
Der Sufiorden der Bektaschi feiert Ende August (meist 20.–25. August) ein mehrtägiges Opferfest auf dem Tomorr, zu dem teilweise bis zu 10.000 Pilger kommen und den Berg hochfahren. Während der Zeit des kommunistischen Regimes unter Enver Hoxha war dies nicht gestattet. Religiöse Aktivitäten erfuhren erst nach dem Fall des Kommunismus Anfang der 1990er Jahre eine Wiederbelebung. Zentraler Bestandteil des religiösen Pilgerrituals ist das rituelle Opfern eines Schafes und der Besuch des Grabs von Abbas Ali.
Am Kulmak-Pass zwischen dem Südgipfel und dem Mali i Kulmakut steht die bekannte Tekke Abaz Ali, die Reisenden und Pilgern auch Unterkunft anbietet.

Abbas Alis Seele vendosur në besimin e bektashinjve pas martirizimit të tij në mal poshtë para se ajo u ngjit në qiell. Abbas Ali kurrë nuk kishte qenë i gjallë në Shqipëri.
Urdhëri Sufi i bektashinjve festuar fundin e gushtit (zakonisht 20 deri 25 gusht) një festival multi-ditore e sakrificës në Tomorrit ndaj pjesërisht deri në 10.000 pelegrinë vijnë dhe shkojnë deri në mal. Gjatë kohës së regjimit komunist të Enver Hoxhës, kjo nuk është e lejuar. Aktivitetet fetare vetëm kuptova pas rënies së komunizmit në fillim të viteve 1990 një ringjallje. Një komponent qendror i pelegrinëve fetare ritual është flija ritual i një dele dhe një vizitë në varrin e Abaz Aliut.
Në Kulmak të kalojë në mes Samitin e Jugut dhe Malit të Kulmakut është i njohur teqe Abaz Ali, udhëtarët dhe shtegtarë gjithashtu ofron strehim.
