Originally built in the 1920s, the building you are now standing in front is a pump house. If you peek in the windows, you can see some of the machinery. The pump house is designed to pump water up the hill to store in the large tanks nearby. These tanks serve several neighborhoods south of where you are currently standing.
The pump house was reconstructed in 2013, finally replacing the nearly 80 year old pumps with more efficient ones. Now, only five pumps are needed, where the station once housed eight pumps for the same job.
This cache is a true letterbox hybrid, which means you must follow these directions to get to the cache:
To begin your journey, walk towards the cul-de-sac.
Proceed to where the corner of the silver fence meets the sidewalk.
Counting clockwise, walk 25 squares
At the 25th square turn left. The cache container will be underneath the object in front of you.
