Since this is a high muggle area I'm going to make it easy. Read the description below first and you should be able to walk right up to it.
Approach the Southweseast corner of the relic. It is on the side away from the trail. Look for the marking "2 in comp shoe" Reach in the hole below it and the container is a magnetic keyhole hidden up and back towards you.
