The original cache was a simple cache in an easy to locate spot. Well, apparently that spot and cache type is not safe, so this time it'll be a little more difficult, to deter the muggles from accidentally finding it.
You're looking for a well camouflaged cache with a log only. It's got a high difficulty rating for a nice challenge. Good luck!
We love this park, and these items here in the park. Although I never had the opportunity to serve my country due to a congenital medical disorder, I did enlist twice. However, my father served in the Korean War, as did my step-father, and the man I was named after. Our daughter also served in the U.S. Army, stationed in Korea. In addition, we have several other family members, friends, and friends' family members who all served. Some who never made it back home. This park is dedicated to all those who have served, especially the ones who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms here in these United States of America.
Every year on Memorial Day and Labor Day, local veterans and their families and friends gather here for a memorial celebration. We almost never miss it. We believe it is important to share in this time, and remember the true costs of freedom. We also make sure our children are here and involved, hoping to preserve the history of this country and the people who served it. If you're local, or just in the area at that time, we'd sure like you to join us.
