Back in 1974, this was the Sunrise Landing for the Keystone Ferry, which carried cars and their occupants across the lake, saving them about an hour’s drive time between here and the Osage Landing. For $2, cars could drive onto the barge, park their car, and step out for a quick ride across the lake.
