The Bunnery Traditional Cache

There are some Massapequa restaurants/bars that have been closed for a while, but live on in the memories of the locals.  I remember places like Dick and Dora’s, Katie Daly’s and Foxes/Arthur’s just to name a few.  There are other places that I don't remember, but I've heard of like Big Bow Wow and Mickey Rooney's Weenie World.  

One place I remember fondly is the Bunnery Pub which was located in this building.  I went there often with my parents - it had a great atmosphere, free sangria/soda, unlimited salad served with an obscene amount of salad dressing in a three-cup holder thing and an awesome steak sandwich.  None of this will help you find the cache, but I hope you enjoyed taking the trip down memory lane with me...

DIRECTIONS & DETAILS: The best place to park is either on Tyrconnell Avenue just off of Park Blvd or in the parking spots behind the store. I had to get the permission from the groovy people at this location and they are cool with the cache - they even helped me pick the spot and the cache really blends in well, so be cool with the groovy people too because they’re watching - always watching…
