Geocache Description:

Áit shuaimhneach

Somewhere to take a view of the sea.

Fáilte go hInis Mór. Inis Mór is the largest of the Aran Islands (Inis meaning island, Mór means big/large in Gaeilge), Inis Meáin is so named because it is the second largest (meán meaning middle/average/medium) and Inis Oirr is the smallest (Oirthear means east, Inis Oirr is the most easterly island).

The island is a karst landscape, like that of the Burren with exposed limestone at the surface. The islands are a Gaeltacht area with people speak Gaeilge daily.
