Durch die Teilung des Vogelshofs entstand der heutige Vorderhof. Aus Erzählungen ist bekannt, dass auf dem Vorderhof um die Jahrhundertwende das Schneiderhandwerk ausgeübt wurde. Bei dem alten Wohnhaus handelt es sich um einen verkleideten Fachwerkbau.
