Mt. Ascutney P&G? Traditional Cache

A quick Park and Grab, or Epic Hike?  Hmm. depends on the time of year. From Apr to Oct, you can drive up the auto road to the top and park fairly near the cache.   The road is closed from Oct to April, but there are several trails to the top, that provide a good hike and terrific views.  If you're up for that.  

I was here with friends for the annual Run Up the Mountain, and discovered there's no current cache near the parking lot.  We decided there ought to be something to do while waiting for our heroes to make it the 3.7 miles up to the Finish Line.  Hence the T rating; if you hike up, it's a 4, but if you cheat and drive like I did, it's really only a 1.5.  

So here you go, you can go wander in the woods for a bit to kill some time, or better yet, go find some other caches on this beautiful mountain.
