Geocache Description:

This geocache series takes in the Northwick Heritage Trail

It is a waymarked walk; simply follow the 'Swan' symbol and direction arrows and you won't get lost.

This circular walk starts just outside the suburbs of north Worcester and follows the scenic River Severn to the hamlet of Bevere Green. The route continues to Northwick and returns to the car park via a rural trackway. Beautifully illustrated interpretation panels mark points along the route of historical and archaeological interest and provide information on the natural environment and wildlife.

Terrain – Mostly level, riverside walking. One short steep section. Unsurfaced paths which may be muddy after periods of rain.

Note

A note to dog owners that there are horses/ livestock grazing.

We have put an extension which will create a more interesting route back to the carpark at the Northwick Lido. (First River View and Fence within a Tree)

We have also put a shortcut later in the walk, if you’d like, along a public footpath, across a farmer’s field and through a small woodland. (Heritage Trail – off piste)
