Welcome to the Wild Horse Wind & Solar facility. This parking lot has a ton of learning opportunities and a kiosk that has a small solar panel powering it's lighting. Make sure to continue up the hill or back into town for more of our caches.
This small cache can be easily found after parking near the kiosk that goes into detail about the wind and solar facility. Although this cache is available year round, the other caches that have been placed inside of the Wind Farm (up the hill) require a recreation access permit from April 1-Nov. 15. These permits are available online or at the Renewable Energy Center atop the hill. Good luck!
