This is a seasonal cache that is only available from April 1-Nov. 15 and requires a recreation access permit (see below).
Drive out into the heart of the Wild Horse Wind & Solar Facility and be in awe of the giant wind turbines, shrub steppe habitat and occasional wildlife.
Drive up Beacon Ridge Road past the Renewable Energy Center and drive for approximately 4.5 miles until you reach the cache location. Park on the side of the road and walk a short distance towards the mesa. Cache is located in, on or very close to the mesa. Have fun!
This cache requires a recreation access permit that is available from April 1-Nov. 15. These permits are available online or at the Renewable Energy Center.
