Geocache Description:

Nice moderate two-mile hike along Powerline Trail from Kauai's north coast.

This is a moderate but sometimes muddy hike along a utility service road known as Powerline Trail. The trail extends for eleven miles from Princeville at the north to Highway 580 at the south.

The cache is located two miles from the northern trailhead near Princeville. Along the way you'll have nice views of the Hanalei river and surrounding areas as well as the north coast shoreline. Park at 22 degrees 11.026 minutes N, 159 degrees 27.417 minutes W.

The cache is a standard white Tupperware-style container. The original cache contents are local souvenirs and items for kids as well as Geocoin 0387.

We hid this cache while on vacation from Santa Barbara so won't have much of an opportunity to check on it. Please make sure that the cache is well sealed against the weather and concealed from casual observers. Mahalo!
