Geocache Description:

This is located near a free flowing stream. I always enjoy finding these streams fairly close to the city centre that haven't been modified into something almost unrecognised as a stream.

The best approach to the cache would be to enter the bush at the provided way point. You can park in any nearby street or approach from the West Harbour Recreation Trail. Where this trail crosses the railway line lock your bike in the car parking area and head up to Ravensbourne Rd, take great care in crossing and go along about 100m to your left to Manuka St and head up and up until you get to a mown grassy area on your left. Cross this to the entrance spot. This grassy area can be quite wet. There are some blackberry brambles at the entrance to the bush. If you decide to cross the stream it is best to go downstream from the bush entrance. Just be aware that at times of heavy rain or just after a prolong period of rain that the stream may be unsafe to cross but who goes out geocaching in such conditions. At all times keep an eye on children as the banks are steep in places. I placed the cache within a few days of 2cm of rain wearing my ordinary everyday shoes.

You are looking for a 1 litre snap lock container. Please take the time to rehide it so that it isn't visible because this area is a playground for local children and a micro cache that use to be located at the sign suffered from muggle activity resulting in it eventually been archived. Be aware that due to tree cover the co-ordinates might be out by a few metres.
