Othum - In our HEARTS FOREVER
This is placed in memory of Othum (November 21, 1960 - June 13, 2017). The first time I met Othum was at the first Belle Isle event that I attended. I remember reading a description of "Othum friendly" and remembered asking what that meant. When things got difficult a few years ago, Othum had so many wonderful words for the kids and I and always had the best hugs to help cheer me up. Othum represented the 5th Chapter for the Michigan Geocaching Organization. He was a loved and well respected friend and we will greatly miss him. There are so many fun filled memories. From his early morning donut runs for the "Are You Geocacher Enough" event and the smile I would always have when I read a cache with the description of "Othum friendly". Othum always had a kind word and wonderful hugs. He will be greatly missed. When logging this cache, please share any memories that you may have. This location seemed very "fitting" for our Canadian friend. Until our paths cross again.
