I've used the same realtor for many years. Most realtors are great, but my realtor, Sue Casa, with Redfin Realty, is really something else. Once, she almost burnt down a house that she was showing because she forgot to turn off the lights when she left. I don't know why I continue to use her. I guess it's because I need her in order to access the MLS numbers, or Multiple Listing Service that realtors use to find property listings.
To explain, you will need a bit of property history:
Back on June 19th 2009 she helped my parents buy a retirement home at 3629 E Yeager Ct,
Gilbert, AZ 85295. They kept their old home here in Chicago as a rental for about 5 years until Dec 4th, 2014, to be precise, when they sold the old family home at 7233 S. Richmond. St, Chicago IL 60629.
Now I'm looking for an apartment in downtown Chicago, and I've got my eye on one place in particular. I asked my realtor to arrange a viewing for me. She said she would leave the key in a lockbox nearby and leave the lights on in the building to help me get in. But given her track record, I suspect she might be playing tricks on me.
