Groundspeak have decided to issue a new souvenir for anyone attending a geocaching event on 15th or 16th July so if you're a souvenir collector like me who's not going to Northumbria biker's rather challenging Hestan Island Adventure why not come along. Come to think of it, even if you are going to Norman's meet you'll probably deserve a large beer by the time you get back so why not come along anyway! I'd sure like to hear how it went.

The Swan was refurbished last year so if you've not been in recently and you're free why not pop in for some beer and geochat. It's run by Vintage Inns these days. Newbies are always welcome and as it's likely to be a fairly small turnout it's a great chance to go to an event without feeling overawed.
