Hi Dr. Evil here. Welcome to a forsaken part of the park. It's a wonderful playground of six foot tall grass. There's even poison ivy and poison oak in this area too. Oh and as an added bonus there is...waist....high....nettle weed!!!!! This is my personal favorite as just a touch is all it takes to set you on fire. Oh and the mosquitoes are just extra thick this year. Did I mention the snakes yet? There are a few of them slithering around so watch your step. Cache is a simple cache with a twist. Now usually TeamBMZ (Bmzdaddy) is pretty loose with giving out hints, but since this one is designed to test your mettle he has been sworn to secrecy about the cache until the first to find has been claimed. Any hints he would give you will not help anyway. You can take this one down to T2 if you wait til winter but it won't be as much fun...for me!.
Bmzdaddy here. I caught Dr. Evil in the kitchen so wanted to warn you to stay out of the fenced area. There is a hole in the fence so it's easy to walk in now. The area looks like old mining works so play it safe and stay out. Good luck!
Congrats to CO-FTF's PaulGracie, Megalsomega, Forest Ghost and Curlycue109!
IF ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY OR DAMAGE IS NOTICED IN A ST. LOUIS COUNTY PARK, PLEASE CALL 314-615-8911 AND REPORT IT.
NOTICE: Please be respectful of the posted park hours. If you enter the park after hours you are trespassing. If you are stopped you can be ticketed or arrested and will put the future of geocaching in the parks in jeopardy. Special permission to hide caches in St. Louis County parks is NOT needed as long as the Groundspeak rules are followed. "Blanket Permission" has been worked out in advance with the park service. DO NOT CALL THE PARK as they cannot handle the calls. The Groundspeak cache reviewer does need to know exactly how and where the caches are hidden and what type of containers are used. The geocaching liaisons will notify the park service of new caches. Remember NO AMMO BOXES or PVC PIPE caches.
