The monument of open the new road (開道碑) recorded a history here. At 1909, the water channel of Liu-Gong-Jun was buried and re-build at new place due to the convenience of people's life and the development of New Taipei City. The monument had been missing for a while because of construction nearby. Luckily it was discovered in the 228 memorial park at 1996 and re-established at 1997. It comes back to remind people the thing had been happened at Jingmei.
