Suedburg Canoe Launch is located within the 3,520-acre Swatara State Park that consists of rolling fields and woodlands situated in the Swatara Valley between Second and Blue Mountains. Scenic Swatara Creek meanders the length of the park and is surrounded by forests and wetlands that support a diversity of wildlife. Swatara Creek is a popular destination for canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and trout fishing especially in the spring. The park also features 10 miles of mountain biking trails. Additionally, the Swatara Rail Trail can be explored from Lickdale to I-81 Pine Grove Interchange, and its trail grade is relatively flat with variable surfaces (stone, gravel, pavement).
