Middle to Locust FTF Power Trail #16 Letterbox Hybrid

This cache has been archived.

midwesthunter: To much urban development going on at GZ I need to move this to another location. Keep an eye out for a version 2.0 of this cache in the future! Although 2.0 will be null and void from the FTF rule on this power trail.

Geocache Description:

Middle Road, turning into Locust Street spans 20 miles, beginning in northeast Bettendorf and ending in western Davenport. It is a thoroughfare for traffic in Scott County.

This is a FTF Power Trail, beginning at the start of Middle Road.  A "Power Trail" is a series of at least 50 geocaches within close proximity.  A "FTF Power Trail" means that if you are the "first to find" (i.e. the 'FTF') of a cache in this series, PLEASE 'pay it forward' by placing the next cache along this trail, and do so within two weeks of getting the FTF.  Keep in mind that some areas will be higher muggle traffic than others, so you may have to be creative in your hides, or may have to dive slightly off course to put out a hide.

Here is my first attempt at a Letterbox Hybrid. You can park at the posted coordinates, from there you will need to walk 334 feet at a bearing of 6°. From that point you will need to use your geosense to find the final! There is a stamp and ink pad for you to use. Bring a stamp of your own to stamp the logbook and/or write something!

*** Please park legally and safely when hunting for all of these FTF Power Trail caches! ***

Congrats to: CrimeFighter89 & Burnt Turtles on the 'FTF' !
