Geocache Description:

Gonnosuke-zaka Slope is a slope of Megro Road facing Ootori Shinto shrine from Meguro Station.

Meguro Road was a course via the rapid slope called Gyonin-zaka Slope in old days.
Gyoninzaka slope was a very hard slope, and the traffic of people with the baggage was difficult.
There is the opinion that Gonnosuke Slope was made by Gonnosuke Suganuma to solve this problem.
(There are the various opinions in the origin of the Gonnosuke Slope. The opinion mentioned above is one of them.)

Originally the Gonnosuke Slope was the road which passed through the south side of Meguro Station.
A way via the north side of the station was founded to break off increase of the traffic.
Therefore a road diverges in the middle of a slope.

I placed cache at the branch point of the road.
Cache size is micro.
Please bring your pen.
