This cache is one of three placed in a beautiful tidal environment landscape that is being revitalised by the Ludmilla Creek Landcare Group volunteers. Thanks to this group there is a beautiful short walk to view this small but complex environment.
Ludmilla Creek is a tidal system in Darwin City. It's catchment area comprises woodland, monsoon forest and mangrove communities, including 160 bird species.
Urbanisation adversely affected the Creek environment, after being abandoned and left as unused wasteland, it is now regenerating. Please bring a writing implement and give yourself time to read about the landscape. More about the Landcare Group can be found on their Facebook page or Google.
