Congratulations SALZ69 on 100,000 finds. Yes, 100,000 finds. By the time you log this you will be well on your way to 200,000 finds. What you have accomplished is an amazing feat. Many of us out here have stories of caching with you. I have a few myself. Let's see, what did Lee do to me
Painting a layer of the World's Biggest Ball of Paint (with Jakes Diner), being questioned by police in Brookston, Indiana at 2:30 AM while looking for a nano in a small park, police officer taking off quickly when he found out we were 'ghost hunters' and we wanted to take a photo with him (Sunshine Face). Sleeping in the car in park at the mega event in Wisconsin, being thrown out of that park at 3:00 AM by police because of some silly sign saying we can't park there after dusk. Sleeping in the car in the Wal-Mart lot. Caching in -20 degree wind chills in Naperville. Those 24 hour caching trips. Thanks for waking me up when I fell asleep at the red light on route 30 at 3:00 AM, geeez, I was supposed to be driving. 100 plus cache days, many miles on bike trails, all of those micros in pine trees. Events and events and more.
Those are just a few of my Lee stories and I am sure all of the other cachers have many to share. Please share a Lee story in your log. One thing is for sure. You are one of the good guys in the game. What we see is what we get. Thank you for being part of this game!
Well Lee, this cache is for you. I know you will shake your head when you get to GZ. Hey, you didn't want it to be too easy now did you ?
