Geocache Description:

WIRRABILLA

The Goulburn-Taralga road has become increasingly popular as a thoroughfare for west-bound traffic over the years. The Taralga Trek series has been created to give travellers a reason to enjoy this country road even more. I hope this applies for you.

Each cache will represent a nearby property or locality name. Most are simple drive-by park and grabs.

Please ensure you park safely and be aware of fast traffic passing by, especially if you have to cross the Taralga Rd.

Most hides in the series will be placed roadside or close by, and easy going. They will include log book and in most cases a pencil, though bringing your own pen is recommended.

Wirrabilla has 150 stud cows and 450 Angus and Angus/Fleckvieh commercial cows running across two properties in the Southern Tablelands of NSW – one at Taralga (822 ha), the second at Gunning (361 ha). Cattle bloodlines have been imported from Germany and South Africa.

Best parking for this cache is adjacent to the cache on the eastern side of the road. Looking for a small plastic container, hiding under a log. Be careful if approaching from the south side of the log - there's a big hole here.
