1000 zł – banknot w tej chwili nie obecny w obiegu, ale w historii polskiej waluty występował niejednokrotnie.
Ciekawostką jest banknot o nominale 1000 zł z wizerunkiem Warszawy, który nigdy nie wszedł do obiegu. A w zasadzie 2 takie: z 2 stycznia 1962 r. (nie wszedł do obiegu z uwagi na zmianę prezesa NBP – podpis na banknocie stracił ważność) oraz z 2 stycznia 1965 r. – gdzie wydrukowano tylko serię próbną.
Ciekawostką może być to, że podobny rewers miał kolejny nieobiegowy banknot z 1 grudnia 1989 o nominale 200000 złotych. A potem w 1995 była denominacja złotego.

An interesting fact is a 1000 zloty banknote bearing the image of Warsaw, which never came into circulation. And there were 2 banknotes: from January 2, 1962 (did not enter circulation due to the change of the President of the National Bank of Poland - signature on the banknote expired) and from January 2, 1965 - where only a trial series was printed.
An interesting fact may be that a similar reverse had another non-circulating banknote dated December 1, 1989 with the face value of 200000 zlotys. And then in 1995 was the denomination of the zloty.
