This is our first geocache hide. We waited until we had over 100 finds and based it off of one of our favorite finds near Belton Lake near Temple Tx. We both love puzzles and had a blast creating these. If you travel up Hwy 63 from Pecos, NM you will come to Tererro, NM which is nothing but a general store, but a great place to stop for ice cream! About .84 miles up the road past the General Store, you will come to the Davis-Willow Campground road (FR646) to your right. About .33 miles up this road will take you to a primitive camping area where the multicache is hidden. Park to the side of Davis-Willow road and don't venture further without a high clearance vehicle. The first three stages are hidden in camouflaged 3 inch PVC pipe with caps. These are large enough for the puzzle and small tradeables. The caps are very tight fitting in order to keep the moisture out and contents safe, so use a little patience when trying to open and replace firmly, but not too tightly. Please rehide as found and watch for muggles, especially on weekends, that might be camping nearby. The final stage is a 50 cal Ammo Can which is packed full with family friendly tradeables. For FTF there is a $2 bill. Please follow the geoacaching guidelines of taking something only if you can leave something of equal or greater value. We want all of these to remain fun for years to come and there is nothing worse than working so hard only to find an empty box. Hints are given for each stage with an extra hint for puzzle #3, so if you want to try the puzzle without the hint, don't peek yet. We hope you enjoy and happy hunting and puzzling.
