Our Little Treasure Traditional Cache

A child friendly cache placed within Stanley Wood

This cache has been placed to celebrate the life of my late wife. She was a lady of small stature who was loved and respected by all who knew her, hence the name of the cache.

Her friends and colleagues have dedicated a tree to her memory within Stanley Wood, and as she was a keen cacher, we thought it appropriate to place a cache nearby. The cache has been placed with the permission of the Woodland Trust.

She dearly loved her grandchildren, so the cache has been stocked with a number of child friendly swaps - please keep this theme going. The cache is a large clip lock box covered with cammo tape and is big enough to accept geocoins and travel bugs. Parking for 3 or 4 cars is available in the layby opposite the entrance to the Glider Club. The cache is a short walk from there along forest footpaths.
