Geocache Description:

The Scots are known for many things. Golf, their frugality, highland dancing, tartan, castles, bagpipes, their accents, shortbread biscuits, Scottie Dogs and of course scotch whisky. So that is what brings you here to Whisky Track.

Running off O'Brien's Road is Whisky Track. There is parking on O'Brien's Road and a short walk to the cache. Funnily, several of the tracks in this area are named after liquor, hence the theme of the caches. I cannot confirm this, but figure that they were named this way by the miners that once lived in the area. It makes the most sense to me, given that the bottle was all that many of them had to turn to at the end of their days of toil. In this case, you will be not be looking for Scotch, but rather another Scottish export, shortbreads. Well, the tin anyway. It is hidden in a typical way for these parts and contains an array of swag to swap.

Once you have found this cache, go a little further and explore this beautiful country. There are many tracks weaving through the Lerderderg system.
