I don't know too many seafaring pirates nowadays, but I do know that I will often see landlubbers traveling the vast concrete ways of our fair land, and they use this spot to refresh themselves.
Bring your own lunch, plan to swap stories of treasures you've found, bring along travelers to show off or exchange, and join the Willamette Valley crew seeking the Golden Cache.

Place: The Santiam Rest Stop (this rest stop can be accessed from both North and South bound I-5, via a road under the bridge) or by sailing up the Santiam in your dinghy.
