Vanessa's EagleClaw Traditional Cache

I met the land owner to ask for permission to place a geocache here and found Vanessa to be a pleasure to talk with. She did not know what Geocaching was but was very interested in meeting all walks of life. Her campground is a unique place to stay with a teepee, an ambulance, a wall tent, a school bus, a cabin, and  a bunk house.

Vanessa embodies the wild spirit of Alaska, to which I am glad to have met her. She renews the reasons many of us came to Alaska or continue to choose Alaska as our home. Adventure awaits around every corner! You will find the container at the beginning of the property. There is no need to go into the property unless you want to meet the great lady that owns the place or to take a look around. It is a neat camping ground with plenty of tent sites to lay your weary head. Very rustic, but very charismatic. I am hoping you find the container to be the same. When you get to the gz, please do not step in the garden. There is no need if you come at it from the backside and reach forward. There are a few trinkets inside, but you'll need to bring your own writing stick. Please don't lose the pieces, it is a one of a kind container!
