This cache brings you pretty close to an optional form of exercise. Although you can't get to this cache by rowing, it does show you an alternative form of exercise. Several times while caching in the area, I've watched rowing crews make their way up and down the Grand River. While executing the wherigo at Riverside Park, I came upon a High School Regatta. Hundreds of boats and students racing up the river. I even ran into a local cacher whose daughter was competing that day.
As a youth, my dad and I would go fishing and I was always the "oarsman". It was always some good exercise and while rowing around the lake, I would imagine that I was part of an Ivy League Crew Team. Well, that never became a reality. Now I think I'm just too fat and the boat would be more like a submarine!
For this cache: Nothing special, a PB jar bungeed to a small tree to keep it from rolling into the pond. Sorry no swag, fresh out. Feel free to add your little trinkets. There is a prize for the First to Find if you want it. You will need to take a pretty good hike or bike ride to get to this cache. This is definitely not a park and grab. I am not considering the business driveway as access because that is private property.
