Al coger un puñado de tierra, lo sientes... Amor, esfuerzo, tradición. A pie de huerto, hueles el polvo y la lluvia, el hierro y la hierba, la poda y el fruto. Sientes que es el lugar donde encontrar y echar tus raíces más profundas, donde disfrutar del contacto más directo con la naturaleza.
En un mundo en el que prima la inmediatez, la tierra te recuerda que todo lleva su tiempo, que no se puede acelerar el propio ritmo de la naturaleza. "Todo da fruto a su tiempo". Y así, con mimo, paciencia, constancia y esfuerzo, en una batalla personal, un cuerpo a cuerpo con los elementos y contra uno mismo, finalmente, puedes saborear el orgullo del trabajo completado y bien hecho.

Aquí en Torre-Pacheco, el Campo de Cartagena, el corazón de la "despensa de Europa", la agricultura adquiere una dimensión cultural, social y económica que trasciende. Aquí se aúnan la tradición y la agricultura más moderna y eficiente del mundo, configurando un carácter auténtico y radical. La cultura de la huerta y el trabajo de la tierra está cercano a todo lo que nos rodea y es el verdadero patrimonio cultural de la comarca. Es parte de su identidad y configura la de cuantos aquí viven.
Este caché es un homenaje a todas esas personas que, con su trabajo, su esfuerzo, sus conocimientos de años de tradición, su investigación, su lucha y, sobre todo, su amor a la tierra, nos llenan cada día la mesa de alimentos sanos y naturales.
SOBRE EL CACHÉ
Para no liarte, recomendamos seguir los waypoints incluidos en el caché. El caché está situado en un recinto privado. Todo el mundo está avisado de él, así que puedes entrar con total tranquilidad. Sólo tienes que respetar algunas normas:
- Presta atención al horario de apertura y cierre. VERANO: De 8 am a 9 pm. INVIERNO: De 9 am a 6 pm. (Por favor, si sales después de la hora de cierre, cierra la verja con el candado que amablemente nos dejan colgado en ella).
- Puedes aparcar en el interior, justo enfrente de donde están las casetas.
- Camina sólo por el camino (el inicio del camino está indicado con waypoint).
- En el caso de ir con niños, observa que no se metan por entre los cultivos.
- Está terminantemente prohibido coger ninguna de las hortalizas cultivadas en la zona.

Here in Torre-Pacheco, in the Campo de Cartagena, the heart of the "pantry of Europe", agriculture takes on a cultural, social and economic dimension that transcends. Here the tradition and the most modern and efficient agriculture of the world are united, configuring an authentic and radical character. The culture of the orchard and the work of the land is close to everything that surrounds us and is the true cultural heritage of the region. It is part of their identity and shapes anyone who live here.
This cache is a tribute to all people who, with their work, their effort, their knowledge of years of tradition, their research, their struggle and, above all, their love of the land, fill daily our tables with healthy and natural food.
ABOUT THE CACHÉ
Please, follow the waypoints included in this cache in order not to get lost. The cache is in a private yard. Everybody is warned about it, so you can enter calmly. You only have to follow some rules:
- Pay atention to the opening and closing time. SUMMER: From 8 am to 9 pm. WINTER: From 9 am to 6 pm (If you come out after the closing time, please, lock the gate with the padlock that kindly they leave hung in it).
- You can park inside, just in front of the stall.
- Please, walk ONLY in the path (there’s a waypoint for the beginning of the way).
- In case you come with children, please, watch out for them to be OUT the crops.
- It’s strictly forbidden to take any fruit or vegetable from the crops.
