Geocache Description:

FTF HONORS GO TO BOOGERHILL!!

Placed on public property, with permission.

An intimate river with a piedmont flavor, the Yellow River Water Trail stretches from suburban Atlanta to Lake Jackson covering the counties of Gwinnett, Dekalb, Rockdale and Newton with put-in and take-out points located approximately every 5-10 miles. The 53 mile river is mostly flatwater, and has a wide array of wildlife and a rich history from prior mill towns and Native American Indian settlements.  The upper suburban stretches offer locals a quiet, peaceful, paddling get-a-way from hectic life.

This cache, a regular-sized container, is placed at one of Newton County's canoe/kayak launches along the Yellow River Water Trail!  This particular launch is called Abe's Landing.

Abe’s Landing is at mile 33 of the 53-mile Yellow River Water Trail. The water trail begins near Lilburn, at Five Forks Trickum Road, and ends at Jackson Lake. According to a description of the water trail, it passes beneath bridge columns that date to the Civil War; a working train trestle; and I-20, where Abe’s Landing is being improved. Critters living along the water trail include great blue heron, North American river otters and American Beavers.

You are looking for a clear, lock and lock type, container that has plenty of room for swag and trackables!  Please note that this container does not open like a traditional lock and lock, you PUSH these tabs towards the container to open.

PLEASE return the container to its proper hiding spot and make sure that it cannot be washed downhill.  Use the vine, at the base of the tree, to "wedge" it in place!
