Canada Day occurs on July 1st, the anniversary of Canada’s confederation, and is a federal statutory holiday. Canadians often celebrate the day with parades, fireworks, BBQ’s and concerts. This cache has been placed to commemorate Canada’s 150th birthday.
When you visit this cache location, you’ll be able to get a great view of IOC and sometimes hear a passing train or planes taking off. However, it is a very calming location where you put your feet in the sand and relax.
