Please DO NOT go a few feet beyond the edge of the trees. Doing so will place you on private property. You can access the cache just a few feet from the grassy area. Park hours are dawn to dusk, so no night hunting allowed.

About Glenwood High School
Glenwood school operated as a high school until 1939, leaving only grade school children attending. Even as a high school, students could not graduate from Glenwood, and the split-county school administrators gave students a choice of finishing grade 12 at either Connersville or Rushville. The school finally closed in the 1950s due to county consolidation which was sweeping the state. The school building, no longer there, occupied the spot west of where the community building is now located -- about where the basketball court and gravel parking lot are. The community building that is there now was established in the 1970s, conceived in part by my mother. She and the local residents joined together to plan and raise money in 1969 to build a community center where the young and old can join together for social activities.
