Geocache Description:

A simple two stage multi. You will need to visit the war memorial to collect the numbers needed for the final. GZ is a little walk away. The cache is a small Tupperware box.

Made of Portland stone, the memorial was built by Mr W J Nutty, and unveiled on 23 May 1920. It originally commemorated those lost from the village in the Great War. It now also commemorates those who gave their lives in the Second World War and Korean War.

The memorial remembers 18 men who gave their lives in the Great War, seven from the Second World War and one from the Korean War.

To find the cache you will need to collect some information from the war memorial.

How many names are listed on the rear of the memorial for 1939-1945 (the second step)? = D

On the bottom step, at the rear of the memorial, there is the word Korea, how many people are listed next to this? = E   How many letters are in John’s surname? = F

Please replace the cache as found, ensuring it’s wedged in place, thanks.

If anybody would like to expand this series please do, I would just ask that you let Just-us-Two know first at so they can keep track of the memorial numbers and names to avoid any duplication.
