These caches were placed to complete the back road connection route between Hwy 97C and West Kelowna via Bear Creek Road. This series will connect the Farmrock Trail to the two Geoart's and even more trails for you to enjoy. These trails are about more than just the numbers of smiles you collect. They offer great views, lakes to fish, spots to camp, places to hike. Fresh air and some exercise is not to be underrated too. If you think it is not a workout, see how you feel the next day. Sore muscles, a dusty dirty geomobile to clean, will confirm it is a workout. The containers are all marked geocache, 35M film bottles wrapped in camo tape and loosely wired to a hanging branch. Please do not remove the wires, they are put on to last and you don't want to snap one off. If you do please reattach to the tree. Come prepared to fix them if you are rough with them. Merely pop the lid, sign the Rite in the Rain log paper with initials please, no long names or stamps!! Please write in your log which initials you use to conserve paper. Bring a good pen, the paper is a bit waxy to be water resistant, a pencil or felt will not work on this paper. Re roll and take extra time to replace the lids to they remain dry! Don't lose the lid, if you do please replace the entire container. Come prepared with extra pens, paper and a couple pill bottles. Maintenance on trails is difficult, so please help out the CO's by being careful. Have a great time, watch for wild life and be careful with fires. This area is extremely dry, watch for smoke and report it if you see it. The road is wide enough for parking along the edge and room for trucks and trailers to pass. During summer it gets really dusty, and there are a couple of washouts to watch for marked with cones, Drive cautiously at night and watch for fallen trees etc. Bring along a chainsaw, chain and extra water for sure. Cell service is not available in most spots. Most of all have fun and enjoy the back road adventure!
