[RO] Prima biserică din Sâmbătești a stat pe dealul cimitirului. În conformitate cu un document din 1333 aici se plătea impozit. Biserica de acum a fost inaugurată în 1796 şi a fost restaurată de mai multe ori. Cristelniţa folosită şi azi provine din biserica originală. Între anii 2009-2010 biserica a fost renovată complet interior şi exterior.
[HU] Az első Szombatfalvi templom a jelenlegi temetődombon állott, A 1333-as tizedjegyzék szerint már fizettek adót. A jelenleg is látható templomot 1796-ban avatták fel, azóta többször átépítettek. A jelenleg is használatban lévő keresztelőkút még az eredeti templomból származik. 2009-2010-ben teljes külső-belső felújításon esett át.
[EN] First church in Sâmbătești was on the cemetery hill. According to a document from 1333 here was the tax collection place. The current building was inaugurated in 1796 and was restored several times. The font still used today is the one used in the original church. Between 2009 – 2010 the church was completely restored, both for the interior and exterior.
