PROYECTO GEOPACHECO
Creemos que Torre-Pacheco tiene muchas posibilidades aún sin explotar y nos gustaría potenciarlo como destino para turistas con un perfil diferente. De ese modo, conseguir que más gente conozca el importantísimo yacimiento paleoantropológico que tenemos en la Sima de las Palomas, junto con la belleza agreste del Cabezo Gordo; saber de nuestra gran producción agrícola de nivel internacional; y nuestra apuesta por la modernidad, a través de edificios innovadores, obras plásticas…
Pues para ello, el ayuntamiento de Torre-Pacheco y Geocaching se dan la mano.
De este modo, la Concejalía de Turismo, en colaboración con un grupo de geocachers, han querido ofrecer tanto a la comunidad local como a los visitantes de la zona la oportunidad de descubrir Torre-Pacheco a través de esta nueva forma de turismo.
Mediante este proyecto, queremos conseguir que Torre-Pacheco llegue a ser un municipio referente en el Geocaching murciano. Porque este trabajo conjunto nos permite elevar las posibilidades del juego hasta el infinito, donde cualquier parte del mobiliario urbano puede formar parte del objeto escondido, permitiendo su ubicación en lugares insólitos (de otro modo, imposibles), y con un presupuesto difícil de sostener de forma particular. Y todo esto hace que se pueda multiplicar el grado de diversión, sorpresa y satisfacción de los geocachers. Y así, también la promoción del municipio.
Nuestro agradecimiento a todas las personas implicadas desde el ayuntamiento del Torre-Pacheco, cuerpos de seguridad y asociación de comerciantes, por el apoyo y ayuda recibidos en desarrollar este loco proyecto y confiar en nosotros.
CAMOL

We believe that Torre-Pacheco has many possibilities yet to be explored and we would like to strengthen it as a destination for tourists with a different profile. For this, the city of Torre-Pacheco and Geocaching shake hands.
That way, the Department of Tourism, in collaboration with a group of geocachers, wanted to offer both the local community and visitors to the area the opportunity to discover Torre-Pacheco through this new form of tourism.
Through this project, we want to get Torre-Pacheco to become a reference municipality in the Murcia Geocaching. Because this joint work allows us to increase the possibilities of the game to infinity, where any part of the urban furniture can be part of the hidden object, allowing its location in unusual (otherwise impossible) places, and with a budget difficult to sustain as an individual way. And all this makes it possible to multiply the geocachers' fun, surprise and satisfaction level. And also, to help them the promotion of the municipality.
Our thanks to all the people involved here from the city council of Torre-Pacheco, security corps and association of merchants, for the support and help received in developing this crazy project and trusting us.
