YAARGH! word is about that the Saskatchewan River Pirates are going to be visiting the Swift Current Mega event. Well, are they on our turf?
Just to prove that the local Pirate Band is still active, we will assemble during the SAW VIII event and wow the locals.
The band will assemble in the Parking lot of the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede parking lot outside the Cypress Centre at 10:45 on Saturday August 19th, 2017. We'll meet under the Jolly Porker flag and work ourselves into a frenzy!
At precisely 11:00 am we will, as a grain thirsty band of bucaneers might, enter the MH Farmer's Market and terrorize (or entertain?) the vendors and customers. As the verses are played we will circle the tables doing lots of pirately things (sword fighting, plank walking, Yaarghing etc.) and all join in the singing of the Chorus (note there is a slight change in wording here... copyrights and all that). Don't be surpirsed if EVERYONE in the Farmer's MArket joins in!
