Horská chata leží v nadmořské výšce 2.240 m.n.m. a narazíte na ni po 3-3,5 hod. výstupu po značené trase z francouzského Auzatu. Od parkoviště to jsou asi 4,5 km, s převýšením cca 1.040 m. Chata je ideální zastávkou pro další výstup na vrcholy Pic du Montcalm či Pica d'Estats. Dá se zde najíst, doplnit vodu i přespat. Domluvíte se tu francouzsky, katalánsky či rukama a nohama. Pokud se doplahočíte až sem, odměnou Vám bude nezapomenutelný západ a východ slunce. No a také snad potěší jedna vysokohorská krabka.

The "Refuge du Pinet" is situated at an altitude of 2240 m. You will reach the cottage after 3-3.5 hours of climbing along the marked route from Auzat in France. From the parking point, it is about 4.5 km with an elevation of about 1,040 m. The cottage is an ideal stop for a further climb to the summits of Pic du Montcalm or Pica d'Estats. It is possible to eat here, refill water and sleep. The staff speak French, Catalan, or they are using their hands and feet. Refuge du Pinet est situé à 2240 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer et vous arrivez là après marche pour 3-3,5 heures sur la route marquée d’Auzat. Du stationnement, il est à environ 4 km avec 1040 mètres d’altitude. Le chalet est une halte idéale pour la prochaine ascension aux crêtes du Pic du Montcalm et Pica d'Estats. Il est possible de manger, remplir la bouteille avec de l'eau ou passer la nuit. Vous pouvez parler avec le personnel en français, catalan ou avec « le mains et jambes ». Si vous venez là-bas, vous serez récompensé par le lever et le coucher du soleil et, bien, peut-être un cache montagneux.
