The dam was built to control the water in case water level is too high or a heavy storm. One side fresh water and sea water at the other side. Surprisingly, before its built, it leads all the way to the shell station at Yio Chu Kang road. Nice view of Punggol Marina. Its a busy road during the day where dumptrucks and traffic pass tru. Try going at night where there are less traffic.
There is only 1 post with a cctv to it. Dont think they will disturb the hidden cache. Bend down under the box n search for it.
